The Official Launch of the Project

The official launch of the Cyanometa project was opened with a kick-off meeting, spearheaded by Dariusz Dziga, representing Jagiellonian University, and Nada Tokodi, representing the University of Novi Sad. The esteemed hosts extended warm welcomes to partners from the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia, setting the stage for a collaborative journey ahead. The opening session not only established the foundational framework, but also featured presentations on technical and administrative processes, shedding light on the forthcoming workshops. During this session, the consortium collectively deliberated on the revised schedule for the workshops scheduled for 2024, engaging in a comprehensive discussion on the project's long-term objectives.
The inaugural workshop, planned for January 2024, will serve as a training ground for researchers and PhD students. The focus will be on preparing for metabolomics analyses and navigating the intricacies of software applications crucial for interpreting data and identifying cyanobacterial secondary metabolites.

As the project unfolds, stay tuned for updates on this collaborative venture!
